A report issued by the Central Bank attributed the decline to the decline in the exchange rate of most borrowed currencies against the US dollar by about $2.7 billion, in addition to the increase in the net user of loans and facilities by about two billion dollars.
 
With regard to the burdens of servicing the external debt, the report indicated that it amounted to $4.8 billion during the period (July/September) of the fiscal year 2022/23 (the paid installments amounted to about $3.2 billion and the paid interest amounted to about $1.6 billion).

He pointed out that according to the indicators; The ratio of the balance of external debt to GDP reached 32.4% at the end of September 2022, and it is still within safe limits. According to international standards.
