Basket - Abdul Rahman Nader announces his participation with Egypt in the World Cup

Abdel Rahman Nader, a former American player for the Phoenix Suns club, revealed his decision to represent the Egyptian national team in the Basketball World Cup.
The Egyptian national team had qualified for the FIBA World Cup, which will be held next August in Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia.
Abdul Rahman Nader, 29, has been playing in the NBA since 2017.
Abdel Rahman Nader revealed on Sada Al-Balad channel: “I will 100% participate with the Egyptian national team in the World Cup next August.”
"I believe that Egypt's qualification for the World Cup means the development and prosperity of basketball there," he added.
He stressed, "The Egyptian national team presented a great level during the qualifiers, and I expect that there will be a great advantage during the coming period."
Abdel Rahman Nader explained, "I tried to participate with Egypt several times during the previous period, but I happened to participate in the NBA and I had a knee problem last February."
The Egyptian professional revealed, "I was struggling last period because of the injury, and I am doing my best to return again, and it is expected that I will return soon."
He continued, "There is communication between me and the Egyptian Federation and coach Roy Rana, a great coach, and I expect a wonderful form for the team in the future."
Abdel Rahman Nader concluded his remarks, "I am currently focusing on returning to the stadiums, and my first appearance will be with the Egyptian national team, and after that I will wait for my position on joining any club."
